First let’s just start by saying there are lots of ways to be successful in Network Marketing. We have heard stories from all sorts of people on how they have been successful in Network Marketing. Some people are successful by holding classes or events. Others are successful due to their online efforts such as blogging or social media. Still others find success by podcasting or incorporating their Network Marketing business into an existing business they already have found success in.
With that said, this article is designed to encourage you to find your own path to success in Network Marketing. As you do so there are a few great rules of thumb to follow when making that decision. We’ll start by laying out these common rules or guidelines, and then briefly touch on the ways you can build your Network Marketing business.
Ways to Build a Successful Network Marketing Business
1. Hold events, classes & seminars
This is the most common way to successfully build a Network Marketing business. While it does take a lot of time, long hours and some sheer muscle power as you lug materials from place to place,… it does produce results.
To be successful in Network Marketing by holding events, classes and seminars the idea is to be consistent and build on your momentum. Learn more by reading the article Be Success in Network Marketing with Events, Classes & Seminars.
2. Social media
If you’ve spent any time on social media you’ve no doubt seen someone trying to build their Network Marketing business. We’ve seen people use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,.. you name it. Bottom line is that there is a right way and a wrong way to build a Network Marketing business using social media. If you already have some experience in social media or you have little kiddos that make it challenging to get out in public, this course of action might be appealing to you. This can be a great way to grow your business if you are good at forming relationships, or growing excitement and engagement on social media.
If you already have a podcast following then you may want to consider adding your Network Marketing business as a facet to that podcast. If you don’t have a podcast but do have a great speaking voice and the technical know-how, you could also use this as a way to successfully grow your Network Marketing Business.
If you are thinking of joining a Network Marketing business all about toxic-free living, you could start a podcast on this topic and highlight products from your company. You could even “sponsor” your podcast with your company, or lead people to a paid Facebook community where you talk more about how your products can serve them.
The idea is to be of service and provide value. When you provide value and share how your products and services can help your idea prospect, sales naturally follow.
While this can be a fun way to build a business, it is also one of the most exhaustive. We highly recommend you only do this method if you are familiar with podcasting and willing to put in the log hours it takes to get a sale.
Blogging takes time, consistency and dedication. If you cannot fully commit to several hours a week cultivating content, writing, promoting and building relationships then this option is probably not for you. In fact, we would only suggest this option for those who already have a thriving blog to promote their products and services to online.
5. Use your Existing business
If you have a profitable and thriving business you can always incorporate your Network Marketing services with it. For instance, if you are a yoga instructor and you join a health & wellness company you can promote your products to your existing customers. You can do this a number of ways. You can have the products sitting on the counter, give away free samples, use them during or after class with your clients, offer a free workshop or event.
Choose Your Way to Build a Success Network Marketing Business
The right way to be successful in Network Marketing really all depends on you and how you want to build your business. If there is anything we cannot emphasize enough it is that this is YOUR business. At the end of the day you ultimately need to feel good about the decisions you are making for your business. So while we can provide advice, and others can provide you with advice you need to do what you feel is right for you.
1. Play to your strengths
When deciding how you want to build your business, it’s important to play to your strengths. In other words, what are you already good at doing? If you are amazing at blogging – then go ahead and use your blog to build your business. BUT conversely, if you are not good at blogging then don’t even consider using it to build your business because it will be a huge waste of time and take you a lot longer.
2. Don’t reinvent the wheel
If you already have a team or upline with a proven method to get results, then don’t reinvent the wheel. Use what they have and grow with the tools they have in place. We like to say “success leaves clues” in other words,… do what others are doing, to get what they have got.
3. Do one thing at a time
Too often we want to jump in and do all things at once but often times, doing so is not rewarding. We encourage you to start with one way to build your business. Do it consistent. Do it well. And do it for at least a year so you can get results, before moving on to something else.
